क्रांतिकारी खुदीराम बोस भारतीय स्वतंत्रता संग्राम के इतिहास में सबसे युवा शहीदों में से एक हैं। 11 अगस्त 1908 को महज 18 वर्ष की आयु में उन्हें मुजफ्फरपुर जेल में फांसी दे दी गई थी। उन पर ब्रिटिश जज किंग्सफोर्ड की गाड़ी पर बम फेंकने का आरोप था। खुदीराम बोस हाथ में 'भगवद्गीता' लेकर मुस्कुराते हुए फांसी के फंदे पर झूल गए थे। उनकी इस महान शहादत ने देश के युवाओं में देशभक्ति की एक अभूतपूर्व लहर पैदा कर दी थी। आज भी उनका नाम देश की आजादी के लिए दिए गए सर्वोच्च और निस्वार्थ बलिदान के प्रतीक के रूप में अत्यंत गर्व के साथ याद किया जाता है।
Revolutionary Khudiram Bose remains one of the youngest martyrs in the history of the Indian freedom struggle. On August 11, 1908, at the tender age of just 18, he was executed at Muzaffarpur Jail. He was charged with orchestrating a bomb attack targeting the carriage of the tyrannical British magistrate, Douglas Kingsford. Khudiram Bose famously climbed the gallows with a smile on his face, holding the sacred 'Bhagavad Gita' in his hands. His supreme sacrifice ignited a powerful wave of patriotism among the Indian youth. Today, he is remembered with immense pride as an enduring symbol of selfless devotion to the nation.
