यह ऐतिहासिक किताब सिर्फ कागज पर छपी नहीं है, बल्कि यह एक 16 फीट लंबा कागजी स्क्रॉल है, जिसे छह शीटों को जोड़कर बनाया गया था। इसके पहले पन्ने पर भगवान बुद्ध की एक बेहद खूबसूरत नक्काशीदार तस्वीर है, जो उस समय की बेहतरीन छपाई कला को दर्शाती है।
आज यह कहाँ है?
यह बहुमूल्य 'डायमंड सूत्र' आज लंदन के ब्रिटिश लाइब्रेरी (The British Library) में पूरी तरह सुरक्षित रखा गया है! साल 1900 में चीन की गुफा से खोजे जाने के बाद, 1907 में एक पुरातत्वविद इसे अपने साथ ब्रिटेन ले गए थे। आज इसे इस लाइब्रेरी की वेबसाइट पर ऑनलाइन भी देखा जा सकता है।
